Coffee anyone??

Kali pertama mungkin terlepas, kali kedua kena buat jugak!

Yesterday, bos pertama asked me politely to make a coffee. I just smile and say okey. Then, I 'politely' hand over the special task to PA.

This morning, I grabbed her (PA) to teach me how to make coffee. Done. While she was busy with the first boss, the second boss came to me and asked me to make coffee. Hahah! Problemo!! The PA was not around. So, I just try my luck to make a mug of coffee and pray that he will not choke while drinking! I went to his room and put the mug on his table. I took a deep breath and start the conversation. There's a confession to make.

"Sir, I have to say this before you drink the coffee. Umm... this is my first time and I don't know if the taste suits you. Your comment are so welcome."

Then he replied, "Yes, I will. Thank you."

Few hours later, as I'm writing this post, he came to me and said, "Can I have two cups of coffee. Same as before."

Yeehaa! You asked for a cup, I give you a mug! I'm overjoyed wtf!! So now I'm officially a coffee maker. Well, this isn't sounds big but don't underestimate small2 thing. Because small things can cause a huge different. Don't you agree with me? ^_^

Not much work to do today. I don't delay any task given. And I'm always ready for any job. During leisure time, I'm gonna improve my English vocabulary. My grammar are so wtf.

Have you list down your new goals or resolutions for 2010?? I do.I'll tell you when I get it done. Haha...how secretive I am. Today, my new bosses come to the office. They are big size. I feel so small. Plus, they talk so quick, i couldn't catch up. Luckily I'm not the key person here. I'm assist the PA.

I don't want to feel 'takut' with them. I want to get along with them. Oh, no more competing with people. Now, I have to challenge myself to see if I'm up to the standard or I'm just a loser.

They are very particular and want everything in order, neat and tidy. And and and professional too. Not to mention got style too. Well, managing luxury hotel needs high class people. So, I need a lot to learn. My English, communication skill, appearance need to be improved. Oh it's time to get started Nadia! Enuff blogging for now.

work is all about profesionalism

Oh-kay....

I like my new work place. I can't exactly tell the location but since i'm so excited, i'll tell you a little bit about this new place.

Kawasan nie agak jauh dari kesesakan kota. Berkonsepkan pejabat dalam taman. Okey we're in Malaysia but i'm working with expatriates. Japanese school around this area. Golf club and hotel and luxury spa also here.

I'm working at a new hotel management company. This office just set up and completely running on January 2010. Meaning, we're the pioneer of this company. My bosses are Australians. I didn't know much about them. They are still in holiday mood. But, admin staff told me that they are very professional. Don't be surprised if the meeting can start early as 7 o'clock in the morning. I've been checking the hotel's website and have to think twice if want to stay there. The price are so unimaginable. RM1,500++ per night.

My colleague, so far only 1 person. She has wide experience working with expatriates. She's an Indian. She seems pleasant and honest. The way she talk, the way she walk shows that she's suitable for the job as Executive PA. Wow! So many things to learn from her. For now, i'm going to be all-rounder. From receptionist to office assistant. And i will develop myself to become a secretary.

Bercakap tentang kebajikan, mereka memang mementingkan pekerja. Cuti kahwin 5 hari, cuti bersalin 60 hari, dan macam2 lagi cuti ehsan tak termasuk cuti tahunan. Paling best adalah tentang gaji. Bersyukur sangat sebab dapat kerja yang gajinya agak lumayan. But all these are not really important for me. I'm still young and have to work hard. Before it's too late and you regret for nothing.

Now, this is what i called job. I hope there will be no office politics and no gossips. This is about being professional. Am i up to the challenge??

me, me and new job

Rupanya susah nak berkata benar dalam setiap perbualan. I hate this! I don't mind being labelled sarcastic as long as every words that come out from my mouth is the truth. Senang aje buat dosa kering niyh. Sigh!

Sempena Awal Muharam 18 Disember lalu, Na berazam untuk menjadi seorang yang lebih baik daripada yang sebelumnya. Kembali semula dalam Istana Hitler memang memberi perasaan yang amat menggembirakan. Honestly, a part of me has gone. No more dream to dream, no more dreams to catch, it's time for reality. Oh speaking about dream. I had weird dreams these few days. I doubt to tell you bout this dream. I think I should do as 'instructed' and see if there's any changes in me.

Tomorrow, I will say hello to my new job. Have to start from the bottom to be on top. This is the time I'm waiting for. A new challenge for me. Working for expatriates. Wow! Am I up to the challenge? Am I fit for the organisation? I don't know. But one thing for sure, it's time to show the real me. Yes, the real me. After being tortured in Hitler's Palace. I can smell the spirit. It's time to bring out the best in me. Deep in my heart, I don't know this is for the best or for the worst. Never know until you try.
